I can safely say that finding HMC Pet Care has been the best thing for me and my 2 dogs - Jay and Zeb, Chocolate Labradors - they absolutely love it there with Helen and her family. I drop them off and off they go, they don't even look back anymore and run straight to the front door. I checked out so many kennels before finding HMC Pet Care and it just did not feel right that they would be locked up and let out a couple of times a day, but with HMC Pet Care they are free to come and go as they please, play with other dogs and family members whilst in a safe enviroment and it just feels like they are at a home from home. I have used HMC Pet Care for a week break but also an overnight and for day care, which is very convenient. I have always found Helen to be accommodating of my two, although I know they can be a handful at times! The care they receive is excellent and I have no problem in recommending them to other pet owners. Thanks for offering a superb service for us dog-mad people!!

"I could not recommend highly enough the peace of mind you will have when your pet is in the care of Helen and her family. Our Golden Retriever, Daisy, first stayed with Helen when she was just 17 weeks old as prior to having her we had pre-booked a holiday. I had no idea how attached we would become to Daisy, we were frantic when we visited some kennels recommended to us and didn't like the thought of our puppy being kept in such a noisy and rigid environment. Daisy didn't like it either, cowering as she was shown around. On arriving at Helen's it was a different story. She was happy from the first run down the drive - much to my daughter's disappointment as she wanted Daisy to miss her! Daisy has stayed several times since and is booked in for her summer holidays! Be prepared - your dog will be shattered when they get home from all the fun they have!

When you pack your bags and head off to the sunshine, how do you feel leaving your faithful friend behind? Well, put those days of 'behind bars' behind you and take your dog to HMC Pet Care. Helen has large grounds for your dog to roam, new friends to muck about with and at night your own familiar bed, so no feelings of home sickness, just the opposite! Each day is a ball and when it all has to come to an end they get to go home for a rest! I've not looked back since I started sending my dogs to HMC Pet Care and I never have that awful feeling of guilt when dropping them off.

Helen and her family do such a marvellous job, my labrador Morris is nearly 3 and just loves company, he is rarely on his own, can be quite nervous, needs plenty of exercise and loves to play. A kennel environment just wasn't what we needed for Morris, too lonely and inpersonal for him. Morris has stayed overnight and for a week with HMC Pet Care and actually sulked when we brought him back home, he refused to come and sit with us at all because we had spoiled his fun! The dogs get to sleep in the house, loads of play, cuddles and walks and it truely is a home from home, worth every single penny. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending HMC Pet Care, and will continue to sing their praises. They are just brilliant!

Helen and Mark are so warm and accommodating, Coppar has a brilliant time there and it's lovely to know that they love him as much as us and look forward to seeing him. He comes back very tired so we know he's had fun playing with the other dogs. I would hate the thought of leaving our Coppar in a cold and lonely run like normal kennels and it's great having peace of mind whilst you are away that he's being so looked after and spoilt. It's a home from home for him and we wouldn't have it any other way.

I just wanted to place on record our appreciation for the care extended to our two Jack Russells, whilst I had a short break. In the past we have placed the dogs in kennels, but never felt totally comfortable with this arrangement. From the moment I approached your company, I was impressed with the personal service received. If you are on the HMC Pet Care website then like us you have not just a pet, but a member of your family. Previously to finding HMC Pet Care I put Pluto into kennels - it was the worst holiday of my life, all I could picture was his sad eyes and his crying as we left him, I just couldn't get my head around being away enjoying myself whilst he was unhappy and pretty much living in a cage. I swore I would never go on holiday and leave him again. Early last year my neighbour recommended we try HMC Pet Care. I called Helen and arranged to take Pluto for a visit, from the minute we got there he was playing with the other dogs as happy as could be and didn't want to leave. We really have never looked back, he stayed there 3 times last year, and so far we have him booked in for 4 holidays this year. To Pluto it is his second home, he loves Helen, Mark and their family and gets so excited when he sees our suitcases as he knows where he is going!!! A bit gutting for us but he actually pines for a couple of days after he comes home as he misses them and all of his friends so much. The prices are so reasonable considering it is like a Hotel for Dogs, you take their own food, so you know your dog is getting the same diet as they would at home, I can't rave enough about it, give them a try, you won't regret it - and your dog will have an even better holiday than you, guaranteed!"

We always leave our dog with Helen at holiday times & advise all our friends to do the same, the massive outside area up in the welsh mountains, which they can use at their leisure & the home from home affection Helen's family show towards all the dogs makes me wonder why on earth anybody would leave their dog in a prison like kennel!! Also the regular Facebook updates is a welcome, comforting surprise when your away...... The only problem I have is Lottie doesn't seem to want to come home after the 2 weeks!!

Well after panicking for months about leaving Bailey & Max whilst we go on holiday my mind was truly put at rest after dropping them off at HMC. The boys had an absolute ball & made lots of new friends. The frequent posting of pictures of them having so much fun was great. Wouldn't send Alfie anywhere else. The fact that the dogs roam free and can play together is fantastic (the thought of a kennels and being locked in a pen all day at other places upsets me as Alfie would hate it). My mind is at ease every time I am on holiday as I know Alfie is well looked after and has a great time.
